great access to parks and local attractions for weekend explorers

During my stay, I really appreciated how close I was to Kuirau Park, where I enjoyed a lovely stroll through its geothermal features and green spaces, and it's less than a 20-minute walk to the Polynesian Spa, a perfect spot to unwind after a day of wandering around rotorua.

Had an awesome getaway with friends! We loved visiting the Maori show with a traditional hāngī feast. We checked out the breathtaking natural wonders nearby. Great for adventure seekers and chillers alike!...  

I enjoyed my stay at Sudima Hotel in Rotorua. The room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed. The staff greeted me warmly and offered helpful advice about local attractions. While some areas need updating, the welcoming atmosphere made my experience pleasant.

Exceptional stay with super comfy beds and friendly staff that made the experience memorable. Loved the clean, spacious room and the convenient access to a buffet breakfast with a varied selection. Enjoyed the proximity to the local market and vibrant shopping area nearby. The only drawback was the lack of a gym and a musty smell in some areas, detracting slightly from the overall ambiance.

Conveniently located right by the lake, perfect for taking in the views. The pool area impresses with its unique open-air design, blending indoor and outdoor relaxation zones, making it an enjoyable space....  

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. the warm, welcoming staff made me feel right at home. The serene lake view was absolutely breathtaking, and the clean, comfortable room provided a perfect retreat after my daily explorations....  

Make sure to ask for a complimentary spa ticket when the hotel's spa is closed. it's a great way to unwind after a long day.

The clean rooms offered comfort, but the bathroom had noticeable mold.

I can't believe how misleading the heated pool advertisement was! It was freezing cold and not at all like the enticing photos online. Our kids were so disappointed, and to add insult to injury, we were 'upgraded' to a room with only two beds instead of three as originally booked. Sharing a bed with my child was not what I planned for a comfortable night's sleep. I expected better communication from the hotel about this change.

During my stay, I attended a cultural performance that featured a traditional hāngī buffet dinner. The flavors were unforgettable. The staff were very professional, taking care of everything with ease. Overall, it was a positive experience even amidst the ups and downs....
