Sudima Hotel Lake Rotorua

We were there for family vacation, and had a fairly nice time. The hotel was comfortable modern with amicable staff members and a coffee bar. It was in a very central setting on the shore of one of the lakes......  

The hotel located on the lake side we can take a walk on the lakeside and a few minutes to the spa

no elevator and the room is old

It was difficult to find the front entrance for check-in, and it was dark around the outside, making it uncomfortable to walk alone at night. It was inconvenient to pull/lift luggage up the front steps; there should be a ramp (not with a steep angle).

great access to parks and local attractions for weekend explorers

I really appreciated how close I was to Kuirau Park, where I enjoyed a lovely stroll through its geothermal features and green spaces, and it's less than a 20-minute walk to the Polynesian Spa, a perfect spot to unwind after a day of wandering around rotorua.

Being central in Rotorua

The hotel rooms and common amenities were excellently designed. The hotel staff were very efficient and obliging. All areas of the hotel were very clean. Central location, for airport / CBD / and...  

Hot Spa Baths and the entertainment.

Did not like the strong sulphur smells.

Although the room was not too bad, the hotel is sited downwind of the pretty foul smelling Lake Rotorua

Great location, walking distance to attractions and restaurants etc.

Access could be better, eg on checking in we had to hump our bags up stairs. Also, I assisted an elderly lady with another elderly lady in a wheel chair as she couldn't manage the steep ramp by herself.

The functional and comfortable modern room with a nice view. Free of charge breakfast selection with 2 toast and bacon, for example served in the restaurant. Location not far from most major tourist attractions, the lake and...  

location excellent, well positioned next to polynesia spa and complimentary entry there when pool under maintenance, restaurant had good selection of food and friendly staff with prompt service.

when we used the internet on own laptop we purchased credit for same, but i thought we only purchased $30 worth but it just kept working so we used it. however when the bill came it was close to $80 unbeknown to me. it should have been made clear that once we used the credit it will not disconnect you but just keeps going and you pay on check out. could have been much more expensive for me as i had 2 teenagers using the internet at night! please make this clear as mustard to the parents!

Recommend for a relaxing holiday

Spacious room, convenient location, with a lovely view of the sulphur flats and easy access to the Polynesian Spa just across the street where hotel guests enjoy a 20% discount.

We only stayed one night, and we did the Maori Concert with Hangi, both me and my wife enjoyed that. The only negative point was that the concert loaction was a bit cold.

We had an amazing experience. Have in the past stayed at the Millenium on our regular trips to Rotorua. Not any more. Its the Sudima for us. Excellent rooms decorated with flair and great tonings. Restaurant...  

Had an awesome getaway with friends! We loved visiting the Maori show with a traditional hāngī feast. We checked out the amazing natural wonders nearby. Great for adventure seekers and chillers alike!...
